1. The old stand-by: Do you plan on having children some day? How many and any idea (vague though I know it necessarily must be) of the timeline?

I have an immediate answer to this, but it's actually more complicated than my immediate answer. My immediate answer is that I never want to have kids, ever. Ever. But the fact is that at /this/ point, I don't want to have any kids. For the main reasons that 1) I am so in love with Mark that I don't want to share his overwhelming love with anyone right now and I don't want to have to give a committment that big to anyone who isn't him, and 2) I am way selfish. I want to travel, I want to not be tied down to anything or anywhere. I don't want to have to worry about schools or sports or lessons or diapers or children things. However, in five years, we may both change our minds. If we do, we'll adopt, probably a toddler around 2-3 years old.


2. What do you do on a typical weekend?

Wish that I had typical weekends? :) Seriously, I have a series of things that usually happen. Every other weekend I go to Baton Rouge with Mark for our little LARP addiction. That's Saturday night, and we usually get home around 3:30 in the morning on Sunday, so Sunday is spent recuperating, doing laundry, finishing up any homework or grading that needs to be done, and trying to relax a little. When we're not LARPing, we usually go out with Alan and Miriam or the Doc (until recently :( ) or other of our friends. Or we go to the casino. Or we rent movies. But there's almost always lots of sex involved throughout. (Of course, that's not really any different from weekdays, so.)

3. What is the earliest experience/memory you have of taking part in bdsm activities? (Which, at the time, probably would have been much more loosely referred to as hurting or being hurt, being in control or not.)

When I was in first grade, two sets of things happened. One, my best friend and I decided we were slavegirls belonging to "Demon Lords" who had absolute control over our bodies. We didn't know what that meant exactly, but we took turns playing the Demon Lord and the slave girl. The rest of that is seriously TMI. The second was that the boy who lived up the hill from me tied me to a fire hydrant while we were playing cops and robbers. And I had to beg him to release me. And I liked it.

4. How many times a day do you look in the mirror on average?

Six or seven? Putting on makeup in the morning, when I wear it, brushing my teeth, fixing my hair, washing my face, and every time I go to the ladies room at work.

5. What is your comfort food?

There are a couple of them. Tunafish sandwiches made with pickles and onions and served on white toast. Chef Boyardee Pizza-in-a-Box kits without using the cheese. Oranges. Slightly overripe cherries.
