Feb. 14th, 2003 03:27 amMmmmmm. Chicago. Mmmmmmm. Yummy fun movie with lots of girls dancing and singing in lingerie. How could it go wrong?
Seriously, though, it put me in a great mood and I danced from the moment I left the theater until we were in the courtyard of the apartment complex, where I only stopped dancing because D pulled me to him and kissed me under the moon and wished me a Happy Valentine's Day, and then we danced together slowly for a couple of minutes, and then I was all dreamy and everything.
We're going to the jewelry store in the morning. And then to Commander's Palace for lunch. And then to the Ford dealership to possibly get a new truck in the afternoon.
I just look at that sentence and gape. New jewelry, new vehicle, and the fancy-shamanciest place in New Orleans for lunch. It's like someone pinched me and made me rich.
Too bad that it's entirely deceiving. :)
I love you, D. Happy Valentine's Day. Just think, next year when I'm saying Happy Valentine's Day, it'll be to my husband.

Date: 2003-02-14 05:41 pm (UTC)Chicago is a stylized Broadway dance/musical on film, where the plot is pushed forward through the music (one of the court scenes is a musical number, for example). All of the musical numbers /look/ like they are being performed on stage, as well.
I liked them both. Right now, I couldn't tell you which one I like more. Let me see Chicago again, and then I'll tell you.
P.S. Got a truck.
