What I really really really hate is the whole time/money thing.

I have time to finish my dissertation /if/ I don't need to work two jobs to pay my bills.

I have money to pay my bills /if/ I don't work on my dissertation.

I can just picture the Happy Joyous Mirth of Pan as he trips through the Fuck-You-Forest, laughing at us poor mortals.

*grumbles* Looking for a Sugar Daddy/Mama. Anyone volunteering? I just need about 5K.
