I just finished the rough draft of the Sheri Reynolds chapter.
Introduction, done
Theory and History chapter, done
Rosemary Daniell, done
Lee Smith, done
Sheri Reynolds, done
Conclusion -- not done, but only because I'm not doing this until all the revisions are done.
So, I lived up to my self-imposed deadline of having a completed rough draft done by the time of the wedding. In fact, it's a week before the wedding.
Now I can sit back and actually enjoy the next week.
I'm starting off by having a Woodchuck. After which I will probably crash and burn and sleep the sleep of the dead.
Go me!

Date: 2003-11-02 07:22 am (UTC)Maybe, if I feel like writing at all, I'll set down and bang out a few pages of that thing that still doesn't have a title. But chances are I'm going to feel like doing the following: Hanging with my family and out of town guesties, getting married, sleeping, some more sleeping and then maybe catching up on some pleasure reading before they hit me with the rough draft comments at which point I have about 70 pages worth of material I need to add to the dissertation in the form of expansions and such.
Nanowrimo my ass.

Date: 2003-11-02 07:24 am (UTC)I'll call you this week to talk about wedding stuffs. I'm not sure if I have your home phone number or not, though. Just your cell. Send me some alternate numbers if your cell is still screwed up.

Date: 2003-11-02 09:35 am (UTC)I have a bachelor's in computer science, although I suppose if I were to somehow decide to drop out now they might give me a master's as a consolation prize. Either way, yes, I've probably got more earning power than a typical English major. But once you publish your brilliant Nanowrimo entry, you'll be rich! Get cracking!
