You know, I don't know if I say this often enough, or seriously enough, but I'm extremely grateful for the Doc. Extremely.

I got birthday presents in the mail from him today, and they were both amazingly thoughtful and original. He got me Harlequin Valentine, which is apparently (I haven't read it yet) a modern retelling of the Harlequin/Columbine myth/story with the writing done by Neil Gaiman and the artwork done by John Bolton. It's beautiful to look at. Plus, he got me the From Elvis in Memphis CD, which is my favorite kind of Elvis, and makes me all goosebumpy when I listen to it.

These are gifts I never would have thought of and never would have bought for myself, but somehow are just right.

Yo, Doc, I'm not too good to you. We're just good to each other. :) Love you. Thank you.

Glad you like em :) I haven't read the Gaiman book, but I figured it would be a good bet -- I hadn't even heard of it before seeing it listed. The Elvis, of course, I was confident of.
