I'm currently filling out and mailing the registration/payment form for my boss' daughter's soccer membership/team dues/uniform costs.

900.00 a season to play soccer.

Nine Hundred Dollars. To.Play.Soccer.

I never ever ever ever want to have children. Ever.

And oh yeah. This is for the Under Thirteen Age Group. God only knows how much it is for older kids.

Well, keep in mind that your boss is obviously very fucking rich. if my daughters play soccer it will be at with a YMCA team for $50 a year.

What Teslagirl said. I don't think this is an argument against having kids so much as an argument against spoiling them fucking rotten-- er, I mean, not comparison shopping and being selective.

Dude, I don't remember my mother ever paying that much for sports.

Then again, I remember her saying that soccer equipment for my sister to play at her high school cost almost $200.

Of course, the reason she even said anything was because my sister quit 2 weeks into the season. ^^;
