So, two weeks ago I went to the doctor. She told me I had an infection in my lungs and to take these antibiotics. So I did. My fever never went away, but the infection had. Or so I thought. In the last three days, just as my antibiotics supply has run out, the coughing has started up, the pressure in my lungs is back, and my fever is more consistent, and of a higher number.
For the most part, I've been feeling okay. I haven't been sleeping all the time, I haven't been woozy all the time. I've just been... feverish. But now the icky parts are back as well.
So, tomorrow I'll be traipsing on in to the health center once again.
But hey, at least it's not SARS, right? (Which, ironically, seems to have its "ground zero" in the Chinese Province where my Dad is currently living, and has forced him to start wearing surgical masks and washing his hands every hour, and has closed down many classes and caused all kinds of quarantines. Ick.)

Date: 2003-04-13 02:25 pm (UTC)I called you, accidentally, from my cell phone, a day or two ago. Although I didn't actually think it went through. I only have your number because The Esteemed Doctor gave it to me some time ago when there was some chance I might need to communicate with him whilst travelling.
It seems that you tried to call me back, and I went 'oh no' and didn't answer, because I didn't think you wanted international long distance on your phone bill. But I thought I should let you know what happened.
That would have been a weird conversation anyway. "Oh, hi! Um. I'm Blacklite. Which is weird. Um. Let me explain."
